Take a deep breath in
Exhale deeply
Take another deep breath in
Exhale deeply
Take another deep breath in
Exhale deeply
Keep doing this as you feel your thoughts, emotions and physical body.
With each deep breath in, acknowledge the thought, the feelings and your physical body.
With each deep breath out, release those thoughts and feelings
Its okay if your mind wonders, close your eyes. Allow a moment to be still.
Keep deeply breathing while you, begin to repeat “You are special, you are valued, you are okay, and everything will work out. I am where I am supposed to be.”
Keep breathing. Keep repeating this sentence for 5 mins. After 5 mins, ask yourself how do you feel? How did this impact my emotional state from 5 mins ago.
Its important to note that each time you incorporate some daily affirmations into a meditation it has a healing effect and because we are emotional beings, we all crave some validations. Saying “You are” is creating a deep validation in yourself. Notice when you start to negative talk alot of times you say things like “You are so stupid, (insert name)” we say this about ourselves or similar things because thats the way that we have heard it or thats how we validate ourselves based on our actions and interactions with the world around us. Change those negative talks into positives. You will feel a profound difference within minutes!
