The most painful experiences in our life is loss. Loss means that you cared, that you loved and valued that person.
Grief can be triggered by many forms of loss. Whether you have lost a loved one in death, that loved one is still alive and no longer apart of your world, experienced a job loss, a major life altering decision that transformed your life.
Whatever the case, grief is a process that most do not understand.
You are valid in all that you feel about this!
Do not be discouraged because you are not alone. Everyone in this world has experienced some form of grief along this journey.
There is many ways to cope with this. But this involves a lot of self care and baby steps forward. Being still is important at certain times but also being busy is important.
We have to strive for the balance between allowing our feelings to come out and play, and then giving ourselves a healthy distraction to allow for our minds to recuperate from the experience of those emotions.
This journey is not easy. It’s overwhelming, all consuming and even paralyzing.
I offer sessions to help guide you through this process. And if I cannot help you I will refer you to some resources that will be equipped to help you.
